Looking for advice on implementation
Our company is a producer of room fan coil units for the commercial HVAC industry. We are increasing the work load of our lab and it is getting cluttered with test units that must be archived and possibly reused. By implementing an RFID system we would be a ble to tag units that begin production on our pilot unit line then anyone in the company (regardless of location) would be able to track the progress and location of the units through a generated web-based report. This would help us to schedule tests and storage space as needed. Such a big-picture analytical view of the activities in the lab will greatly increase our efficiency when orchestrating projects with large quantities of testing or last-minute "emergency" tests which are sometimes needed in our high-paced atmosphere.
What is the simplest/cheapest way to implement a system like this?
